Feng Shui Bagua Mapper

Overlay the Bagua (classical or BTB Western variant) on your floor plan with compass calibration. Most online bagua tools assume a square room with the entrance on the bottom; this one handles rectangle, L-shape, and includes the front door as the entrance reference.

Inputs

What problem this solves

Most Bagua tools assume a square plan. Real rooms are rectangular or L-shaped. A rectangular plan distorts the zones: corners stretch or compress depending on the long axis. This tool draws the bagua on your actual plan, preserving proportional zone areas even in non-square layouts.

Limitations

Common questions

Why are classical and BTB results different?

Classical Bagua fixes the zones to compass directions, so the entrance can be anywhere. BTB fixes Career zone (bottom of the bagua) to the entrance wall. The same front door that lands in the East zone classically may land in the Career zone in BTB.

My room is L-shaped, can I use this?

Treat each enclosed rectangle as a separate bagua. Most practitioners apply the bagua to the largest rectangle and treat the extension (kitchen nook, dining bay) as adjacent energy. The tool currently supports rectangular plans; for L-shape, map the dominant rectangle.

Which variant should I use?

If you’re working with a Western Feng Shui consultant trained in the Black Sect tradition, use BTB. If you’re working with a classical Compass school consultant, use the classical variant. The tool supports both so you can compare.
